Our story began in 1920 when our grandfather established his own shop for the famous Lebanese Foul and Hummus. With his generosity and hospitality throughout the years Marrou became well known and was the leader in his field. In 1943 Rafic Marrouche established his first restaurant in Beirut and was famous for his shawarma and shish tawook. Marrouche restaurant became everyone’s number one choice. Launching from his small country, Marrouche exported his taste to more than 40 countries all over the world. Throughout the year and from generation to generation Rafic Marrouche reserves his fame, unique taste and secret formula. In 2005 Marrouche family establish a very unique, innovative line of ready meals (Heat & Eat), mix-spices (Dish of the day), cold cut, and Marrouche retail franchise concept.
